“For every hair of the Qurbani, you will receive a reward.” (Tirmithi)
Follow in the Footsteps of the Prophets this Thul Hijjah
Each year, Muslims around the world commemorate the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) by making an animal sacrifice to the glory of God. During the days of Eid Al Adha Al Mubarak, Muslims have the opportunity to follow the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim (PHUH) to provide fresh meat to impoverished and vulnerable families.
Through the United Hands Relief Udhiyah/Qurbani Eid Al Adha Seasonal Program, benevolent Muslims can share the gift of sheep, goats or shares of cows with poor families in any of the countries we serve.
United Hands Relief sources fresh nutritious meat from local farmers who perform ethical practices for the animals’ welfare
When to Give Your Udhiyah/Qurbani
You can make your Udhiyah/Qurbani donation any time before or during the month of Thul Hijjah. Nonetheless, the sooner we receive your contribution, the better chance we have of ensuring that the beneficiaries will receive their shares of meat in time for Eid Al Adha.
** The act of Udhiyah/Qurbani will begin right after Eid prayers on the first day of Eid and will continue throughout the last day of Eid. The shares will be distributed immediately after cutting and packaging is completed on the same day.
“There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” (Bukhari)
This Eid Al Adha, follow in the footsteps of the prophets by performing Udhiya/Qurbani sacrifice, from just $70, which will provide 2 kilograms of fresh meat per each vulnerable family. This year, UHR is working in 15 countries around the world, supporting impoverished families struggling with war, displacement, and poverty. Help us spread the joy and blessings of Eid Al Adha Al Mubarak! Share the meat with those in need.
