In partnership with medical institutions, United Hands Relief delivers emergency medical shipments for vulnerable, displaced refugee communities in crisis zones. The Providing Medical Relief Resources program began in 2018, when UHR sent its first medical supplies shipment to Gaza at the value of $3 million. Today, UHR delivers multiple shipments a year and distributes millions of dollars worth of medicines for chronic conditions, hospital equipment, wheelchairs, over-the-counter drugs, and health care supplies that availability is extremely difficult in needy communities.
