United Hands for Relief and Development (UHR) is a humanitarian organization committed to uplifting lives through compassion, action, and community empowerment. Where Help Begins and Hope Grows

In the Dallas–Fort Worth area, United Hands for Relief and Development (UHR) brings its mission to life through a dynamic Community Outreach program focused on direct support and empowerment. This initiative provides essential resources such as food, clothing, furniture, and household items to individuals and families facing hardship. It also offers vital services through a Homeless Resource Center and responds swiftly to local disasters with relief efforts. UHR fosters long-term resilience through community empowerment projects, while creating meaningful opportunities for volunteers to engage and contribute. By building strong partnerships across the region, each effort reinforces our commitment to restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and harnessing the strength of united hands.

A Gaza Mother’s Gratitude to UHR

A mother from Gaza shares her gratitude to United Hands Relief for standing by her family since the earliest days of the war.

Forced to flee from northern Gaza to the south, she and her injured son have survived with the help of food supplies, winter clothing, food baskets, and emergency shelter. Her son, who was injured during the war, remains unconscious and receives nourishment through a feeding tube.

Today, they are taking refuge in a UHR tent, one that was provided to them at the beginning of the conflict. In the midst of loss and uncertainty, this shelter represents safety, care, and the reassurance that they are not alone.
