“No mother wants to see her children suffer from the pangs of hunger”

The devastation and emotional pain experienced by the family never fully subside. They are only made worse once the surviving wife and children find themselves in a desperate financial situation when the breadwinner of the household is suddenly gone and they are unable to provide for their children the most basic needs.

With no resources, money or financial support, widows find themselves desperate and incapable to feed their children and themselves.

At UHR, our Orphan & Widow Monthly Food Assistance Program ensures that widows and orphans receive customized food parcels that contain essential food supplies every month. And since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we scaled up our efforts to reach more widows and their orphans every month. For $100 a month, you can give the gift of a food parcel to help ease the burden felt by impoverished widows and orphans around the world.
