Partnerships and Community Support

United Human Relief (UHR) supports local families through year-round services that meet urgent needs and build long-term resilience. Our food pantry, financial assistance, and employment programs help neighbors access essentials, overcome hardships, and create new opportunities.

We strengthen community ties through volunteering, food drives, and back-to-school initiatives, while our donation hub and partnerships with local and national organizations expand our reach. From emergency relief to awareness events and civic education, UHR mobilizes people and resources to uplift communities and inspire a culture of giving.

Family Assistance

UHR continues to serve local families in need through our in-office food pantry. We provide essential food parcels to low-income households and individuals experiencing homelessness in the DFW area.

Any donation will help the community

Today, UHR accepts monetary donations, as well as product donations of misprinted, slightly damaged, over-stocked, or gently used supplies from individuals, organizations, and corporations nationwide.

Food Pantry

UHR operates food pantry year-round which is Open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Food baskets contain pantry staple items like Canned vegetables, pasta, soups, sugar, flour, canned goods and cooking oil

Financial Assistance

UHR provides financial Support to vulnerable individuals and families going through financial shock. UHR helps pay utility bills and provides rental assistance

Employment Support

UHR hires locally providing job opportunities and valuable experience to local graduates enabling them to qualify for state, local and Federal job opportunities.

Mentorship & Volunteering

UHR runs Programs for personal growth and community engagement. Provides opportunities to serve local community members needing assistance with delivering groceries to mobility challenged individuals

Food Drives

UHR holds Organized food drives regularly in various localities, like annual Turkey drive. UHR provides volunteers and food items to local soup kitchens

Back-to-School Initiatives

From our Arlington, Texas head office, UHR holds Annual backpack distribution drives, parents simply sign and pick-up school supplies loaded backpacks.

Fundraising Campaigns

UHR regularly Holds fundraising campaigns across USA like Atlanta, New Jersey, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding North Texas communities.

Donation Hub

From its Arlington hub UHR provides a centralized collection and distribution point for donated items.

Charity Partnerships

UHR regularly holds joint collaborative community sessions with local and national organizations like ISAT, ICNA, ISNA, MAS, AMJA and MLFA to name a few.

Community Engagement

UHR consultants conduct awareness Seminars, talks, and conflict resolution initiatives. Through Friday sermons and after prayer sessions UHR engages directly with the community members encouraging giving and volunteering enabling broad community engagement at grassroots level.From its Arlington hub UHR provides a centralized collection and distribution point for donated items.

Emergency Response

UHR is always ready to aid local communities hit by manmade and Natural disasters like Katarina, in accordance with legal guidelines. UHR volunteers reach disaster areas to lend a helping hand.

Awareness Events

Roadshows and fundraising booths are staged almost weekly basis locally and nationally for fundraising and civic engagement raising awareness about local and global donation hotspots.

Civic Education

UHR lends its facilities and resources for crisis intervention, to mediate and negotiate conflict resolutions, promoting citizenship and responsibility through community meetings, talks, training and coaching sessions.

Project Reports

Engages in humanitarian projects both locally and internationally to assist those in dire need of assistance. It is our goal to empower individuals and families within their communities.
