Join our fight against hunger!

United Hands Relief for Relief and Development (UHR) is an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization helping families in need and disaster victims locally, nationally, and internationally. Our goal is to save lives, transform communities and renew hope!

Inadequate nutrition all too often is associated with inadequate shelter, lack of health care, and bad education, and poverty is at the core of all. In 2018, the percentage of people living below the line of poverty exceeded 12.1%. Today, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across Texas, Tarrant County is seeing an escalation in its poverty rate.

Call to volunteer or simply donate any amount as little as $1 just to be part of this noble work.

To honor UHR’s Dallas-Fort Worth community, UHR expanded its local programs to help low-income families, refugees and the homeless within the local community by establishing a 5,000sqft processing center in Arlington, Texas. And in response to the drastically increasing rate of unemployment and alarming rate of poverty, United Hands Relief is in the process of establishing and operating a food pantry at UHR’s distribution center located at 3107 Ave. E East in Arlington, Texas 76011.  We aim to feed 250-300 families a month.

The pantry will contain non-perishable foods like canned tuna, canned vegetables, canned tomatoes, rice, peanut butter, dried beans, jelly, snacks for children, and more. When individuals visit our pantry to receive food items, they will also have access to receive other essentials such as personal toiletries, bedding, blankets, kitchen essentials, and furniture.

Join our fight against hunger! The UHR Feeding Our Community program aims to secure and distribute food items to residents in Tarrant County. Donate today and help us open our doors to those in need sooner.
