Giving on a Jummah
Make donating on Jummahs an on going deed.
Earn the blessings of Jummah
Friday’s are perhaps the most blessed day of the week when Muslims gather together for their obligatory Friday Prayer, also known as Salat Al Jummah.
Friday’s have been set aside as a special time for Muslim communities to give back to those less fortunate around them by donating money to charities, shelters, and organizations that deal directly with poverty, hunger, and homelessness worldwide. Friday’s should not be reserved only to bring joy and happiness but rather should be spent in helping improve the lives of others.
Several benefits come with giving charity on Friday’s in Islam. The first and most obvious benefit is that it earns one a place in Paradise. Ka’b (may Allaah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Giving Sadaqah on Friday is better than giving it on any other day of the week”.
