United Hands Relief’s Prosthetics Project Phase I supports 20 displaced Gazan patients living in Cairo, Egypt, who have lost limbs due to conflict and displacement. The project is designed to restore mobility, independence, and dignity through a comprehensive rehabilitation process.

In collaboration with medical teams from Jordan, the project is implemented in several phases:

Each patient undergoes a detailed medical and physical assessment to determine their specific prosthetic and rehabilitation needs.

Measurement and Prosthetic Design

Specialists take precise measurements and create customized prosthetic solutions tailored to each patient’s condition and lifestyle requirements.

Prosthetic Fitting and Adjustments

Patients receive their prosthetic limbs, followed by multiple fitting sessions and adjustments to ensure comfort, functionality, and proper alignment.

Physical Rehabilitation and Training

Patients participate in rehabilitation sessions to learn how to use their prosthetics effectively, improve mobility, build strength, and regain confidence in daily activities.

Follow-Up and Ongoing Support

Regular follow-up appointments are conducted to monitor progress, address any issues, and make additional adjustments as needed.
